Social Media Etiquette Case Study

Case: Vanessa Hudgens’ COVID-19 Comments on Instagram Live What Happened : Actress Vanessa Hudgens faced backlash after making dismissive comments about COVID-19 during an Instagram Live session. Some brand partnerships and projects distanced themselves from her during that time. Why It Matters : This case shows how unfiltered, offhand comments on social media can quickly spiral into a PR crisis, even for celebrities.
